1) Location
Martin Marietta Aggregate-Pee Dee Quarry is located at 2710 Wycliff Road in Pee Dee (just west of
the Pee Dee River),NC, Anson County.
Directions
From FRO,take Hwy 401 South to Wagram. Turn right at Old Wire Road (Hwyl44), and go
approximately 11.5 miles to Laurel Hill. Turn right at Hwy 74, and go west approximately 24 miles until
Hwy 145. Turn left onto Hwy 145 South, and then drive about '/4 mile. Planned site will be on the right
hand side.
Safety Considerations: Safety shoes,safety glasses,and hardhat(earplugs when operating).
2) Description
Martin Marietta Aggregate Pee Dee Quarry is a rock quarry that is permitted to produce gravel and
aggregate used in construction. This facility is permitted under Air Permit No. 63341105, effective from
19 October 2007 until 30 September 2012. Cindy Grimes conducted the last compliance inspection on
8 July 2009. This facility has not been constructed yet.
