Coleman Boulevard Concord, NC 28025 SUBJECT: 40 CFR 63 Subpart ZZZZ RICE MACT Extension Approval Air Quality Permit No. 07645R05 Concord City Generator Plant#2 Facility ID: 1300104, Concord, Cabarrus County Facility Classification: Synthetic Minor Dear Mr. Pate: The Division of Air Quality(DAQ)received your January 2, 2013 request for a one year extension of your 40 CFR 63 Subpart ZZZZ Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engine Maximum Achievable Compliance Technology(RICE MACT) compliance date. 40 CFR 63.6(i)(6) lists the information that is required for the DAQ to act on your request. Specifically: (i) The request for a compliance extension under paragraph (i)(4) of this section shall include the following information: (A)A description of the controls to be installed to comply with the standard,• (B)A compliance schedule, including the date by which each step toward compliance will be reached. At a minimum, the list of dates shall include: (I) The date by which on-site construction, installation of emission control equipment, or a process change is planned to be initiated- and (2) The date by which final compliance is to be achieved. (3) The date by which on-site construction, installation of emission control equipment, or a process change is to be completed; and (4) The date by which final compliance is to be achieved . Your request included the following compliance schedule: date of on-site construction, installation of emission control equipment, or initiation of a process change would occur by March 1, 2014. Your schedule indicated a final compliance date of May 3, 2014. This letter serves as approval of your request for a one year extension. Your compliance date will be May 3,2014. Sincerely, a ee A.
