Box 1006 Charlotte, NC 28201-1006 Subject: Fourth Quarter 2000 Sulfur Dioxide (S02) Emissions Reports Dear Mr. Ellison: The Division of Air Quality(DAQ) has reviewed the subject reports dated January 26, 2001 and February 16, 2001 for the following Duke Power facilities/units: Allen 1,2,3,4 and 5; Belews Creek 1 and 2; Buck 5,6,7,8 and 9; Cliffside 1-5; Dan River 1-3; Marshall 1-4; and Riverbend 7-10. The reports were reviewed in accordance with 15A NCAC 2D .0608 - OTHER LARGE COAL OR RESIDUAL OIL BURNERS. Based on the review, it was determined that all Duke Power facilities/units mentioned above did not exceed the sulfur dioxide (S02) emission standard on a 24-hour block average as specified in 15A NCAC 2D .0608.
