The SOC was initiated due to non-compliance with 15A NCAC 2D .0521 —Control of Visible Emissions from the common stack that that serves the the dryers (ES 1420, ES 1430) and press (DEF 2010). The demonstration for compliance with 15A NCAC 2D .0521 from the common stack was performed on November 20, 2014. The VE stack test report was received by DAQ Raleigh Regional Office (RRO) on December 18, 2014. The DAQ RRO issued a letter on January 5, 2015 accepting the VE compliance demonstration. Therefore, the facility has demonstrated compliance with the visible emissions requirement in 15A NCAC 2D .052L The 2013-002 SOC is closed as of February 27, 2015.
