The testing was completed to comply with Section 2.LA 4.c.of the Wadesboro Permit 08179T08,under the Case-by-Case MACT for Brick Manufacturers.Testing was performed on September 13,2016. As shown in the report, the test results demonstrate that Kiln 2 is operating within the allowable particulate emission rate(0.15 vs 0.171b/ton brick)and the HCI-equivalent emission is less than half of the plant-wide allowable rate of 9.455 lb/hr. Since Kiln 2 represents half of the plant-wide capacity, the HCI-equivalent emission rate calculated using the Kiln 2 stack test results was compared to half of the allowable plant-wide emission limit. A summary of the stack test results is provided in the table below. USEPA Units Result FO1179 m Test Parameter Method mi gr/dsef 0.017 PM, 5 lbs/hr 3.78 - lbs/ton 0.15 ppm 0.999 HCl 26p' IHF bs/hr 0.152 ppm 1.437 26A ]bs/hr 0.121 - HCI-Equivalent - Ibs/hr 0.191 4.727 I am submitting this Notification of Compliance Status on behalf of Triangle Brick Company for the Wadesboro facility. According to Section 2.I.A 4.c compliance testing is required to be done at only one kiln. Therefore these results serve as the basis for the determination that the Wadesboro facility is currently operating in compliance with the Case-by-Case MACT requirements set forth in Section 2.1.A 4 of the Wadesboro Permit 08179T08. Results of the audit sample analysis were received from ERA and Test America on Friday October 28, 2016. Since this is more than 30 days after the stack testing was completed,we are requesting an extension to the report submittal deadline;the Notification of Compliance is being submitted within the 60 day period specified in Section 2.LA 4 g.
