This report was from the 40 CFR Part 63 Subpart ZZZZ and NSPS Subpart JJJJ(CO,NOx, and VOC) source testing of four-stroke lean burn natural gas-fired emergency generator(880 hp)(ES ID No.EGO 1),which was conducted on 12 May 2016. On 1 September 2016,this Division determined that the subject testing performed at your facility was an acceptable source test. The review indicates that compliance with Air Permit No. 10097ROI is indicated for these sources. A copy of the determination memorandum issued by Mr. Gregg O'Neal, of the N.C.Division of Air Quality, Stationary Source Compliance Branch, is attached. EG01 is a four-stroke lean burn natural gas-fired spark ignition lean burn emergency generators engine (804 rated horsepower, 600 kW) manufactured new after July 1, 2010. SSCB has reviewed the testing and the results are acceptable to demonstrate compliance with the applicable standards. The engine was last tested May 21, 2013, and has not operated 8,760 hours since. 40 CFR 60 Subpart JJJJ Standards of Performance for Stationary Spark Ignition Internal Combustion Engines and 40 CFR 63 Subpart ZZZZ National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants for Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engines(RICE)applies. 63 Subpart ZZZZ requires that the facility meet the requirements of 60 Subpart JJJJ. 60 Subpart JJJJ establishes NOx, CO, and VOC limits in parts per million by volume dry corrected to 15% oxygen content (ppmvd@15%05 or grams per horsepower-hour(g/hp-hr). The test results and emission limits are listed in the following table.
