Murphy,Cherokee County,North Carolina Facility ID 2000123,Permit No. 08976R09 Particulate Matter Testing of the Batch-Mix Asphalt Plant Fabric Filter Stack on October 8, 2015 by Catalyst Air Management, Inc. Tracking No. 2015-166ST The subject test report has been reviewed. The facility tested was the batch-mix asphalt plant fabric filter stack. The testing was conducted using EPA Reference Method 5 for filterable particulate matter and EPA Reference Method 202 for condensable particulate matter. The facility is subject to both the New Source Performance Standards for Hot Mix Asphalt Plants(40 CFR 60, Subpart I)and state limits under 15A NCAC 2D .0506. The standards of 40 CFR 60, Subpart I apply only to the filterable particulate matter. The state limits include both filterable and condensable particulate matter. The test results are summarized below. Please note,that the values reported in the table and in the IBEAM database are different from what was presented in the test report. The testing company included both the filterable and condensable particulate emissions in the emission concentration comparison with the emission limit standard for Subpart I.
