Dear Mr. Brown,
Your current air permit, identified above, includes a stipulation requiring that a report be sent to
this Office no later than 30 April 2017: condition 2.2.13.1.(f), 2Q .0317 PSD Avoidance Condition. The
required report has not been received. If you have not already done so, please provide this Office with
the report within. 10 (ten) days of receipt of this letter. Once the report is received in our Office, a
compliance determination, based upon the content of the report, shall be made. This letter is to officially
inform you that, by not complying with the air permit stipulation, you deviated from your air permit and
from the North Carolina Administrative Code 15A NCAC 2Q .0317 Avoidance Condition for
applicability of 15A NCAC 2D .0530 Prevention of Significant Deterioration.
As stated in the subject above, this letter represents a Notice of Deficiency for the cited
deviations_ Be aware that future deviations from air quality regulations could result in issuance of a
Notice of Violation, and may be subject to the assessment of civil penalties according to North Carolina
General Statute 143-215.114A. Please note that this deviation from an air permit requirement must be
reported in the facility's Annual Compliance Certification (ACC) for 2017.which must be postmarked on
or before 1 March 2018.
