Air Permit No. 08939R02
Dear Mr. Goble:
Air Permit No. 08939R02 was issued to Royale Comfort Seating, Inc. - Plant No. 1, Taylorsville,
Alexander County North Carolina on April 30, 2010, with an effective date of April 30, 2010. Specific
Condition and Limitation No. A.9.b.i of said permit states in part:
"By March 1 of each year,regardless of the actual emissions,the Permittee shall submit to the
Regional Supervisor, DAQ, a report summarizing emissions of VOC and HAPs containing the
following:
A. the pounds of VOC used during the previous calendar year;
B. the greatest quantity in pounds of an individual HAP used during the
previous calendar year; and
C. the total pounds of all HAPs used during the previous calendar year."
The report due on March 1, 2017 has not yet been received by this office. Therefore,this Notice of
Violation is issued to Royale Comfort Seating, Inc. Plant No. 1 for failure to submit the required report
within the required timeframe in violation of Air Permit No. 08939R02, Specific Condition and
Limitation No. A.9.b.i.
It is requested that a written response to this Notice.of Violation be submitted to this office as
soon as possible, but no later than ten days following receipt of this notice. Your response should
describe any corrective actions that have been taken by the company to assure compliance with the
referenced permit condition at all times.

It should be noted that additional documented deficiencies could result in the initiation of an
enforcement action by this office in accordance with North Carolina General Statute 143-215.114A,
which provides for the assessment of civil penalties.
