Dear Mr. Melton,
Your current air permit, identified above, includes a stipulation requiring that a report be sent to
this office no later than 30 January 2017: condition A.12, 21) ,1100 Control of Toxic Air Pollutants. The
required report was received in this office on 9 February 2017. Once the report(s) are reviewed, a
compliance determination, based upon the content of the report(s), shall be made. This letter is to
officially inform you that by submitting the required report after the due date you violated your air permit
and the North Carolina Administrative Code 15A NCAC 2D .1100 Control of Toxic Air Pollutants.
As stated in the subject above, this letter represents a Notice of Violation for the cited violation.
This violation, and any future violation of air quality regulation, are subject to the assessment of civil
penalties according to North Carolina General Statute 143-215.114A.
Additionally, the Division strongly recommends that you carefully examine your current permit
