By Integrity Air Monitoring, Inc., July 24,2018
DAQ Tracking No.2018-212ST
Integrity Air Monitoring performed EPA Method 25A at the outlet of the wet electrostatic precipitator
(ESP)to determine VOC emissions expressed as carbon. The emissions test results demonstrate
compliance with the applicable regulations.
A core layer single pass rotary drum dryer ID 1420, surface layer triple pass rotary drum dryer ID 1430,
and a"Wellons"unit,ID 3201.17B,are three unit operations that exhaust to the wet ESP,CD-PB-WESP.
The dryers are subject to 15A NCAC 2D .0530 Prevention of Significant Deterioration(PSD)Best
Available Control Technology(BACT). The emissions test results and limits are shown in the table
below.
Pollutant Method Test Result Emission Regulation Compliance
Limit
VOC as EPA 25A 31.69 lb/hr 163.3 lb/hr 2D .0530 Yes
Carbon
1 Limit applies to both dryers combined
The particleboard press production during testing was 26.70 thousand square feet per hour(MSF/hr).
This production rate is acceptable. The emissions test results demonstrate compliance with the applicable
