Wooten—Pittsboro Asphalt Plant Pittsboro, Chatham County,North Carolina Facility ID 1900023, Permit No. 01887R21 Total Particulate Matter and Visible Emissions Testing of Asphalt Plant ES-14ES 1 Performed May 2 and 3, 2018 by TRC Environmental Corporation Tracking No. 2018-082st TRC performed total particulate matter(PM) emissions testing in accordance with EPA Methods 1 through 5/202. The test results demonstrate compliance with the applicable emissions standards for asphalt plant ES-14ES1. The tested source is drum-mix hot mix asphalt plant, 250 tons per hour(tph)production capacity, consisting of natural gas/No. 2 fuel oil/recycled No. 2 fuel oil/No. 4 fuel oil/recycled No. 4 fuel oil-fired rotary drum aggregate dryer/mixer ES-14ES1 controlled by horizontal cyclone CD-HC 1 in series with bagfilter CD-BH 1. 40 CFR 60 Subpart I Standards of Performance for Hot Mix Asphalt Facilities and 15A NCAC 2D .0506 Particulates From Hot Mix Asphalt Plants apply to ES-14ES 1. 60 Subpart I limits filterable PM to 90 milligrams per dry standard cubic meter(mg/dscm). 2D .0506 limits total PM based on actual production rate. TRC reported the average asphalt rate during testing was 212.3 tph. The 2D .0506 total PM emission limit is 51.6 pounds per hour(lb/hr). The test results are tabulated below.
