RE: Lynnhaven II/Glenstone-Stream Mitigation
Dear Jennifer and Brooks:
Thank you for the good meeting we had at the new Glenstone site last week. It was
very helpful to have the two of you and Lindy Leonard in the same room so that we could
go over the status of the project. This letter is intended to bring you, and those copied, up
to date on the progress we have made since that week.
We implemented a revised monitoring plan for the storm water management permit
based on your recommendations.
We were not able to locate Brooks' contact for suggestions for people to help with
developing the stream mitigation plan. However, we did locate a few names, and also
met today with Mickey Henson. We hope to contract with someone by Monday,
February 5. If that comes about, we plan to have a stream mitigation plan to you by late
in the week of February 19. In talking with Mickey, we confirmed that we could do no
work in the stream until April 15, and if there are not significant changes to be made to
the current stream, we could conceivably plant before the dormant season ends. Thus, we
hope that we will be able to work closely with you (and I define you as Brooks, Jennifer,
Todd St. John and Dave Penrose) so that we can have plan approval by April 14. This
fits within our plan to occupy the building by early May and to comply with the Land
Quality approval by June 1.
We've also decided that all correspondence to you is going to come from me. I feel a
real need to be the gatekeeper of the correspondence so that I know our people are
responding to you. It is certainly welcome and advisable that you speak directly with
whomever designs the plan for any technical discussions. This will hopefully keep all of
us on the same page and moving towards a mutually acceptable plan approval.
