Subject: R-2247EC sediment loss
We had 2 minor losses on the R-2247 EC project in Rural Hall. The losses were at permit sites 1 and 2 following
approximately 2.2" of rain from Saturday, and were discovered in yesterday's inspection. At site 1, the loss was
approximately 7, 5 gallon buckets, and at site 2, it was approximately 4, 5 gallon buckets. At site 1, the loss occurred as
a result of a silt fence overtopping and at site 2, it was the result of an overtopped SDO. The accumulated sediments will
be removed from the stream, and the SDO's cleaned up. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks.
