1. According to a review of the monthly monitoring reports for the period November
1988 thru
October j989, the plant's effluent was in compliance with the NPDES Permit Limitations.
However, it was noted that the July #89 monitoring report for discharge point
002 did not
contain the Quarterly Sample data for BOD and COD.
2. It was noted on the day of inspection that work has begun on the removal
of sludge from
DuPont's sludgd storage lagoons.
3. All other areas of plant maintenance and operation appeared to be in compliance with NPDES
Permit requirements.
