I am writing this letter to inform you that Dupont Fayetteville will not submit their Pass/Fail
chronic toxicity test on time for the month of May. The reason for the delay is that the chronic
test result was invalid there was <80% third brood in the control. Burlington Research initiated
this test May 19, 1999 and terminated the test on May 26, 1999. The samples for this test were
collected 5/17-18/99 and 5/20-21/99 for the first and second samples, respectively. The test has
been rescheduled for June 12, 1999. I regret any inconvenience this has caused you. If you have

Dear Mr. Johnson:
This letter is follow-up to several conversations held with David Goodrich,
Supervisor NPDES Unit, and myself concerning the installation of a `Biomixer"
to enhance aeration in the main activated sludge aeration tank. Based on those
conversations and a review of the information provided, you may proceed with
the installation and operation of the unit described.
Please be advised that all NPDES permit conditions and limitations must
be met during and after the installation of this unit.
