The first involves daily discharge volume from mum of 15 MGD to 19.6 MGD. The is to allow for greater existing river water intake The second change involves the quarterly testing currently required by the existing permit. Analytical results for the samples taken in May, August and November, 1990 have not revealed any specified pollutant to exist in levels equal to or greater than method detection limits, (see attachment 2). Also, priority pollutant analyses performed on samples taken from outfalls 001 and 002 have not revealed the presence of pollutants either, (see attachment 3). Quarterly toxicity tests performed during the same period have demonstrated that acute toxicity problems do not exist. Du Pont requests that pollutant testing be eliminated and toxicity testing be performed on an annual basis. Better Things for Better Living Mr. George T.
