Subject:here are my comments on the Atlantic Coast Pipeline Project
Please oppose t he Atlantic Coast Pipeline project. There are many reasons for this. A few that strike me are the
following:

The damage to important wetlands. The trench will be 8’ deep and can be a thoroughfare for contaminants arising
from the pipeline. The 75’ wide right of way involves cutting down trees that are essential for a well-balanced
habitat.

There’s no need for the additional energy because of the growing use of renewable energy. Descriptions of the
ACP only include references to growth in “gas fired” power demand, but fail to take into account all energy sources
combined.
