About your fellow North Carolinians? The application for 401 Water Quality Certification for the ACP doesn't include enough details about which streams would be jeopardized by trenching, cofferdams, or in-stream blasting. Without site-specific details, it's to know what the water quality impacts would be. The application hasn't shown that the Atlantic Coast Pipeline won't pollute our waterways. If an oil leak were to happen, do you know what that would mean? That would mean poisoned water for thousands of North Carolinians. If that weren't enough, we are already battling water contamination here in southeastern North Carolina in regards to the toxin GenX, which I am sure you are fully aware of. Why is it that in this country the only way of doing things is implementation first, impact assessment second? This needs to stop. Please reflect on the countless lives this measure would impact, including those of your family. Please reject this application. Thank you. Sincerely, Charles Joyce 1811 North Kerr Ave Wilmington, NC 28405 9106323622 1
