Greetings,

I do NOT want the pipeline to threaten all that I love about the natural beauty of North Carolina. I cherish this state
and moved my family here 10 years ago because of the gorgeous mountains in the west where we hike and camp,
through the rolling hills and meandering streams and rivers where we kayak, fish and swim in the Piedmont, to the
spectacular bodies of water where we sail on the coast.

The Tar and Neuse Rivers are important to me. Not just for recreation, but because they provide our drinking water
supply and give life to so many other things. All of which will be threatened by the construction of the pipeline. It is
DEQ's job to protect these treasures and givers of life.

I ask that the Div. of Water Resources deny the 401 permit for the Atlantic Coast Pipeline. PLEASE!
