Subject:Please Deny ACP a 401 permit
To whom it may concern:

I respectfully ask that you NOT issue an NC 401 permit for the Atlantic Coast Pipeline.

MANY facts back up my request, but these are a few of the ones most important to me:
1. The pipeline is not needed to meet our energy needs. Period.
2. The ACP will pollute and disrupt some of the poorest communities in NC, while Dominion is allowed to
make a profit on the construction ALONE, much less the gas. The injustice is evident.
3. Rivers and wetlands will be rerouted and damaged as the pipeline plows through.
4. The destruction of the wetlands (acres and acres of wetlands), plus erosion from the construction, will
cause run-off pollution to easily enter streams. We cannot jeopardize our water sources.
5. The methane leaks caused by the pipeline will accelerate climate change.
Again, the injustice of the project, the environmental degradation, the pollution, and the lack of need
lead me to ask you to DENY the 401 Permit for the ACP.
