The DEQ will have received substantial feedback and testimony from both hearings scheduled this week which should provide ample evidence to reflect the strong opposition within the state of NC, especially from those local residents and tribal communities impacted along the pipeline route. As someone who is very concerned about water quality and the environment ( I am a resident of Wake County and live in the Swift Creek watershed) my view is that this pipeline is not necessary based on scientific evidence. Further, the pipeline poses a significant and devastating environmental risk to vulnerable waterways and eco-systems. I am asking the NC DEQ to take a firm stand and not allow this pipeline to be built. Thank you. Kay Reibold Resident, Raleigh, North Carolina 4108 Yates Mill Pond Rd.
