Subject:ACP, any dead fish can swim with the current
It takes a leader to swim AGAINST the current. The United States of America is not one to fall behind other
developed nations making clean and reliable energy a priority. The ACP and other initiatives that support coal
or natural gas over the health of people and the natural environment are not synonymous with a progressive,
leading nation.
Decision making solely based on the economics of a project is no longer accepted. The truth will always reveal
itself in the end, and every individual will be held accountable. The Department of Environmental Quality is
one of the trusted leaders in the scientific community, and as such should stand to dispel the proliferation of
misinformation.
I can stand behind a department supporting clean energy production that does no harm to human and natural
environments, but is costly and turns out to be a waste of money. I CANNOT stand behind a department that
supports dirty energy production to save money that ends up harming human and natural environments.
Please, be the face of change and swim against the current.
