I have many concerns regarding the ACP bug I will try to be brief. First - there is not a demand or need for this costly energy source. More sustainable energy sources are the future and Duke know this! They are just trying to eek the last "profit" they can at the great cost to NC environment and economy. Second - Duke Energy has a history of polluting the water ways of NC and then spending our tax money fighting us regards to clean up and then passing on the expenses to the customers! - We will pay for this pipelines construction. Ultimate clean ups and the damage it will do to wetlands which we need due to storms and flooding in our immediate future! Third the economic gain as in jobs will not be substantial to NC residents. And the economic costs in construction, clean up and flood damage will be more significant. This project only serves Duke and its investors. It is a poor economic decision for NC.
