Subject:ACP is a threat to NC water!!!!!
I am a retired public school science teacher(31 years in Rocky Mount and Wilson) , parent, and
grandparent who has lived in eastern NC for over 67 years. The ACP will cross over 500 eastern NC rivers,
creeks and streams that supply over 1 million residents with water. The sediment produced from construction
and erosion afterwards would destroy some of the most pristine waters in the country and
threaten recreational, commercial and tourist activities . The potential of an explosion of a fracked methane
gas under 1500 PSI is unconscionable. I urge your department to REJECT this ill conceived project that would
raise the rates of energy from Duke and Dominion Energy. Thank you for your consideration,
