To whom it may concern:

I am writing to express my support for the Atlantic Coast Pipeline. Eastern North Carolina
needs this project. The project will provide substantial benefits for all the communities it runs
through as well as for the entire state. These benefits include greater ability to recruit new industry
while providing energy in a safe and efficient manner.
In addition, this project will provide millions of dollars yearly in local tax revenue. When
the project is in full capacity each locality along the route will receive this local tax revenue. Our
local government every year struggles to balance budgets with the rising costs of education and
public safety. With this significant local revenue will go towards our local costs and should lessen
the tax burden on business owners and families. This long term boost to our economy is exactly
what our area has been in need of, both for economic development and for local tax revenue.
It is time to approve the Atlantic Coast Pipeline!
