Cathy Bittengham in DCM gave me your contact numbers to inquire about a DWQ permit
previously issued for the Bishop Road, Hyde County under DWQ Project No. 20021765.
This project was initiated as part of a corrective action against DOT by DCM. The
px:oject was then transferred and re-submitted to EE,P during which we applied for
another 401/404 permits. Based on general understanding, the 401 permit is issued by
default without permit for EEP projects after 30 days from receipt of permit
application. In order to move forward to address the corrective action, DCM
requested to see the DWQ permit or any verification that the project is permitted by
DWQ. If you could provide a statement to that effect, I would greatly appreciate
it. You can also respond to this e-mail as your response. I look forward to your
