The samples were analyzed for pH and temperature in the field immediately following sampling. Samples were returned to Element One, Inc. and were prepared and analyzed for chromium (VI) according to SW -846 Method 0061 protocol. Samples were analyzed for chromium (VI) using a Shimadzu 2010 HPLC unit and a Timberline RDR-1 Reaction Module. Detection Limits The Shimadzu 2010 HPLC instrument detection limit for chromium (VI) was 0.1 µg/L. Analysis QA/QC Duplicate analyses relative percent difference (RPD) and sample spike recovery data are summarized in the Quality Control Section. All QA/QC data was within the criteria of the method. Additional Comments The reported results have not been corrected for any blank values or spike recovery values. The reported results relate only to the items tested or calibrated. elementOne 23952 Duke Invista Cr6 Report Packet Page 7 of 20 QUALITY CONTROL SUMMARY elementOne 23952 Duke Invista Cr6 Report Packet Page 8 of 20 Summary of Quality Control Data 218.6 Duplicate Analysis RPD (QC limits: <10% for RPD) Invista/S1/OG2 – DW 3 23952-2 Element RPD ----------------- --------------- Chromium (VI) NA elementOne 23952 Duke Invista Cr6 Report Packet Page 9 of 20 SAMPLE CUSTODY elementOne 23952 Duke Invista Cr6 Report Packet Page 10 of 20 elementOne 23952 Duke Invista Cr6 Report Packet Page 11 of 20 elementOne 23952 Duke Invista Cr6 Report Packet Page 12 of 20 ANALYTICAL DATA elementOne 23952 Duke Invista Cr6 Report Packet Page 13 of 20 Analytical Calculations Chromium (VI)- Chromium (VI) (µg/L) = HPLC Results (µg/L)*Dilution Where- HPLC Results = Raw sample concentration (ppb)—HPLC -Data Sheet Dilution= Diluted Volume--HPLC Run Sheet Aliquot elementOne 23952 Duke Invista Cr6 Report Packet Page 14 of 20 Analytical Calculations Spike Recovery- Spike (%) = (Spiked Result (µg/L) – Sample Result (µg/L)) X100 Spike Amount (µg/L) Where- Spike Result = Raw sample concentration (ppb)--HPLC-Data Sheet Sample Result = Raw sample concentration (ppb)--HPLC-Data Sheet Spike Amount-- HPLC-Data Sheet Duplicate Analysis RPD- RPD (%) = (Duplicate Result (µg/L) - Sample Result (µg/L)) X100 Average (µg/L) Where- Sample Result and Duplicate Results=Raw sample concentration (ppb) -- HPLC- Data Sheet Average= (Duplicate + Sample Results) 2 elementOne 23952 Duke Invista Cr6 Report Packet Page 15 of 20 elementOne 23952 Duke Invista Cr6 Report Packet Page 16 of 20 elementOne 23952 Duke Invista Cr6 Report Packet Page 17 of 20 elementOne 23952 Duke Invista Cr6 Report Packet Page 18 of 20 elementOne 23952 Duke Invista Cr6 Report Packet Page 19 of 20 elementOne 23952 Duke Invista Cr6 Report Packet Page 20 of 20
