We (DOT, DWR, Corps & DCM) visited the site during our U-3810 inspection last week. The site looks good and trees were planted in March 2015 and finished up this past March. The preexisting canopy along the creek bank was left intact during construction in coordination with the agencies to maintain the stability of the bank. An approximate location of this bank is shown in the hatched area on the attached plan sheet and is also shown in the attached photo of the northern bank (taken 12/2/2015). Could you please “reply all” to this email that you are in agreement with this proposal? One note of clarification is that the On-site Mitigation Plan calls for the bank of the tributary to Little Northeast Creek to be planted. However, the main waterbody which flows under the bridge at this site appears to be correctly called Little Northeast Creek according to the NC surface water classifications map and USGS topo maps.
