I know the Corps has serious reservations about approving it. They had specific language in their 404 permit prohibiting any kinds of future development in that area. Anyway, I wanted to let you know about this and get your thoughts on it. We can discuss next week if you want to. I’ll be in the field Monday and Tuesday but should have some free time at some point. The path follows through two wooded areas along an existing pathway and two state roads (Toler Road, Skyco Road). There are no proposed impacts to surface waters or wetlands associated with this request. The request includes permit drawings, photo illustrations, previous mitigation plat for Visitors and location map. Please let me know if you have any questions or 1 need additional information. If we need to meet on-site again for further discussion, we can coordinate that with a field meeting. I also sent a request to DCM for permit authorization through an existing CSI Major permit.
