Dominion Energy takes environmental compliance very seriously and immediately notified the Division of Water Resources, Fayetteville Regional Office upon discovery of this release, and took immediate action to remedy this issue as allowable. The release information and corrective actions are as follows: 12/13/2018 — Spread 10 — During a daily site inspection, ACP discovered erosion and sediment controls adjacent to wetland WCMP008F had been undermined. The result was a release and deposition of sediment within these Waters of the United States. Measures to prevent this from reoccurring in the future included repairs of the current erosion controls and addition of supplemental controls at the resource entry location. All deposited material remained within the approved limits of disturbance. Authorization to begin clean-up was received from federal regulatory agencies on December 13, 2018 and full clean-up was completed on December 14, 2018.
