The feature represented on the Johnston County Soils and the Edmondton USGS Quad maps has been delineated on the maps i' received by this Office. It has been conceded that the feature represented on both maps is a stream that is subject to protection under the Neuse River Basin: Nutrient Sensitive Waters Management Strategy; Protection and Maintenance of Existing Riparian Areas,Administrative Code T15A:02B.0233(NCAC 0233).The required buffer has been depicted and the proposed road crossing placed on the plat map. The required PreConstruction Notification for the impact has been received by the Central Office and issued as permit 00-0646. This letter only addresses the applicability of the Neuse Buffer Rules. For information relevant to wetland ti and/or 401 issues please contact someone in the Wetland Unit at 733-1786.
