C. 27636 -3068 Subject: Neuse River Basin Riparian Buffer Rules NBRRO 00 -131 Buffalo Road Athletic Park Wake County Dear Mr. Romano: On April 28, 2000, I met with you at the subject property to conduct a site visit for the above referenced project. This project is referenced by the Raleigh Regional Office as NBRRO 00 -131. At your request, an evaluation was performed to determine if the features indicated on the Wake County Soils and USGS map would require compliance with the Neuse River Basin: Nutrient Sensitive Waters Management Strategy; Protection and Maintenance of Existing Riparian Areas, Administrative Code T15A:02B.0233 (NCAC 0233). As a result, it was determined that the features are at least intermittent streams and therefore subject to the Neuse Buffer Rules. This letter addresses only the issue of riparian buffers. For information relevant to 401 and/or wetland issues, please call 733 -1786. Thank you for your attention to this matter and if this Office can be of any assistance or if you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
