The property and date of timber sale are as follows: Approximately 56 acres of the 207 acres recorded in the Nash County Registry was sold at sealed bid on September 3 , 1999 and closed on December 8, 1999. Based on the materials provided, the Raleigh Regional Office of the Division of Water Quality believes that the proposed logging activities are not required to comply with the requirements of the temporary riparian rule as long as the timber deed listed above remains valid and Forest Practice Guidelines are followed in conjunction with Best Management Practices.
