Good morning, Dave. We had a slope failure at permit site 13 on the EB project. We have an instream check at the pipe
outlet that caught the majority of the failure. We will remove any sediment deposited downstream of the check and
maintain the check in its location until the area is stabilized. The pipe system is currently not live. Let me know if you
have any questions or need additional information.

Amy,
We had a silt loss at site 13 after a .12” rain event. Ground water from inside the slope caused a failure of the bottom
approximately 6-8’. Previously this JS location had no water as the pipe system is not live yet and would feed storm
water from the retaining pond. Either enough rain happened to raise the groundwater level high enough to spill out or a
previously unknown spring has saturated the soil enough to cause a failure. Blythe is re-establishing an impervious dike
and putting a pump in and will be digging out the slope to look for the source of water. It will be further evaluated after
being dug out, but the current plan is to use additional rock armoring at a minimum and potentially a spring box or
French drain if necessary. There are approximately 10-15 5-gallon buckets that are beyond the rock check but was
caught by the second layer of wattles. The stream bed will be cleaned up prior to removal of the dike.
If you have any questions, it would probably be easier to explain over the phone.
Thank you,
Nicholas Librandi
