The information that was received. by the Raleigh Regional Office on April 8, 2003 has been
reviewed._ The plat map,and, other information was provided to ,allow a determination to be made
as to Whether or not the site would require ,compliance with the Neuse Buffer :Rule. Thi's specific
project is referenced by the Raleigh,Regional Office, as NBRRO 03-094.
On December 12,2000, Char,les� Brown conducted a site visit and the features represented.on'the
Wake County .Soils, and_ the Zebulon 'USGS` Quad reaps were evaluated to determine their
subjectivity to the Neuse, Buffer Rule. It was, determined that there are. two features and a pond
depicted on` eitherwof*the maps and those features are present on the ground..' Therefore this
property is'stabject to the Neuse River Basin: Nutrient Sensitive, Waters Management Strategy;
'Protection' and :Maintenance` of Existing Riparian Areas, Administrative Code T15A :02B.0233
(NCAC 0233) , The main feature is adjacent to the northwest property line and-the other stream
with the. pond -has broken subjectivity. The required buffer, is depicted correctly on the attached
plat, map. -
This letter addresses only the. applicability of the. Neuse Buffer Rules. For information .relevant to
40:1, /,wetland impacts, please contact someone,at 733 -1786. Thank you for your attention to this
