I have reviewed the information submitted for the project referenced by the Raleigh Regional
Office as NBR 03 =069: An evaluation of the stream features present on the property was
performed to determine whether or,not the site would require compliance, with the Neuse Buffer
Rules.
One feature is represented on the Johnston County Soil and but is not, shown on the Selma
USGS topographic,map. It was determined that the feature is present on the ground as a stream
and therefore subject to the Neuse River Basin: Nutrient Sensitive Waters Management Strategy;
Protection and' Maintenance of Existing Riparian Areas, Administrative Code 15A:2B.0233. The
fifty -foot buffer is shown on the attached map along the stream feature.
This letter addresses only those issues involving the riparian area. For information relative to
water quality permitting, buffer impacts, 4011404 or wetland issues, please contact Mr. John
