Dear Ms. Gadd:
This letter will serve as confirmation of the buffer determination made by S &EC at the
subject property referenced by the Raleigh Regional Office as NBRRO 03 -034.
On November 20, 2002, I conducted a site visit of features A, B, C, D, E and F involved
in the above referenced project as identified on the attached figures 1 and 2. It was determined
that the features shown on the Wake County Soil Survey and on the USGS Apex, NC Quad map
could potentially be subject to protection under the Neuse River Basin: Nutrient Sensitive Waters
Management Strategy; Protection and Maintenance of Existing Riparian Areas, Administrative
Code T15A: 0213.0233 (NCAC .0233). Feature A is subject throughout property. Features B,
C and E are subject and start at flags #06, #02 and #07, respectively. Features D and F are not
subject.
This letter only addresses the applicability of the Neuse Buffer Rules. For information
relevant to wetlands and other impacts, please contact the Central Office at 733 -1786. Thank you
