The information received at the Raleigh Regional Office has been reviewed. A site visit was conducted
January 14, 2003 to determine if the site would require compliance with the Neuse Buffer Rule. This
project is referenced by the Raleigh Regional Office as NBRRO 03 -020.
One stream feature is represented on the Wake County Soils map and the Garner USGS Quad map.
This feature runs the length of the property at the roadside and is subject to the Neuse River Basin:
Nutrient Sensitive Waters Management Strategy; Protection and Maintenance of Existing Riparian
Areas, Administrative Code T15A:02B.0233 (NCAC 0233). The required riparian protection zone is
50 feet on all sides of the water body.
This letter addresses only the applicability of the Neuse Buffer Rules. For information relative to the
