Dear Mr.Harris:
This correspondence is in reference to your letter dated July 26,2021,for the above referenced site.As per
permitting requirements,monitoring was required for the Benton Mitigation Site. This site is being utilized as
compensatory stream mitigation for the NCDOT Project R-2554C,US 70 Goldsboro Bypass.
Per the permit requirements,NCDOT was required to monitor the site annually for five years. The regulatory
agencies agreed to closeout at the site review meeting June 2,2021.
By copy of this letter,we are notifying you that this site can be closed out as described in your letter,and the final
monitoring report dated November 2020.
