Good afternoon, Dave. We had a sediment loss at permit site 6a on the U-2579DEF project. This site has a small stream
and wetland. The loss totaled approximately 20, 5 gallon buckets of silt deposited as a result of a silt fence failure
following a 0.5" rain event. Sediment will be removed from the relocated stream and will be left in place in the
wetland. The wetland has thick vegetation and removal will result in more harm than good. I have included a picture of
the wetland for reference. Let me know if you have questions.
