Subject:U-2579DEF sediment loss
The U-2579DEF project had a slope failure resulting in approximately 50, 5 gallon buckets into a jurisdictional stream at
permit site 11. The bulk of the material was contained by instream baffles. The contractor has been directed to remove
accumulated sediment from the stream, and stabilize the area. Its really wet out so it may take some time to get the
slope repaired. Temporary measures are being installed to reduce future losses. NPDES records are being updated.
