During the site visit; you informed DWQ that disturbance would be minimal and would be either dug by hand along the existing guardrail or bored. Based on site observations it appears that installation would be along an existing transportation facility (please see attached map) Based on our conversation and site observations, it has been determined that the subject projectis "Exempt" from the Neuse River Riparian Buffer Rules and written coneurrencefrom DWQ in not required You should obtain or otherwise comply with any other required federal, site or local permits before proceeding with the project, including (but not limited to) Erosion and Sediment Control regulations.
