Department of Transportation 253 Webster Road Sylva, North Carolina 28779 Subject: Stormwater Inspection Upward Road NCSR 1783 DWQ Project No. 081754 TIP No. R-4430 Henderson County Dear Mr. Setzer: On October 6, 2011, I conducted a stormwater inspection for TIP Project No. R-4430, NCSR 1783, Upward Road construction project in Henderson County. Review of the rainfall data indicated compliance with the stormwater record requirements; however, the inspection data was incomplete by not including inspection dates, information and corrective actions needed after the September 21, 2011 rain event. The inspection information needs to be included on the inspection reports. Continue to ensure that these records are maintained during the life of the project. Please refer to the attached inspection report for additional comments and/or recommendations. If you have questions, please call me at 828-296-4500. Sincerely, Michael R.
