I. Work is underway on construction of new culvert between NC Highway 18 and westbound 1-40 on ramp.
Most of the clearing and grubbing work has been completed along Interstate 40.
2. Stormwater from the car lot and roadway is causing sediment and turbidity problems along the new 1-40
eastbound off ramp. Recommend installing slope drains and/or basins to control stormwater from these three
areas.
3. Sediment and erosion control structures have been installed.
4. Maintain erosion control devices and seed and mulch areas as required to protect State surface waters.
