Gentlemen,
Utilities has informed me that there will be a minor change to the utilities for B-4463.
Embarq has decided to move their fiber optic telephone line from the overhead power poles and
use an underground bore to install their line under the wetland on TIP B-4463. Their
underground installation was moved closer to the right of way. The overhead power and CATV
will be installed on poles between the underground gas line and the underground telephone
line just mentioned. The underground gas line and underground telephone line is to be
installed by directional bores. The existing outer power poles will remain and be utilized
for the overhead power and CATV lines the existing inner power poles will be removed and
replaced by 2 new poles. The impacts for the power poles in the wetlands have been noted in
the permit. Therefore, no change in impact amounts to jurisdictional resources. Please see
the attachment for the revised drawings. Please let me know if there is any questions.
