The North Carolina Department of Transportation is requesting a NW 3 permit for pipe replacement on SR 1208 Kitty Flawk Rd in Dare County. The pipe is located approximately 90' east of SR 1210. The pipes will be removed using NCDOT best management practices for pipe replacement. The current pipes, 2 @ 50' x 24" CMP will be replaced with 2 @ 50' r 24" CAP with riprap on both ends. The pipes are located in an unnamed tributary to Kitty Flawk Bay. The PCN, vicinity map, and permit drawings are included with this letter.
