There are impacts to one regulated stream associated with this project due lengthening pipes in order to widen the roadway. Traffic will use an offsite detour during construction This UT to Toisnot Swamp is located in the Neuse River Basin and is classified by the Division of water Quality at this crossing as WSK NSW. Best Management Practices for the Protection of Surface Waters will be strictly adhered to during construction. Regulatory Approval: USACE Section 404 Permit: The project qualifies for Nationwide Permit 14 (Noureporting). All permit conditions will be followed. NCDWQ Section 401 Certification: The project qualifies for 401 General Certification number 3704_ All conditions of the general certification will be followed.
