The North Carolina Department of Transportation is requesting a NW 13 permit for shoreline stabilization on US 264 in Dare County. The project is located 0.86 miles south of SR 1 100 (Bayview Drive), adjacent to Stumpy Point Bay, Class "SA, HQW" Waters. The stabilization will occur on an eroded bank that has collapsed along US 264 causing the shoulder of the road to become unstable.
