Chapin Department of the Army Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers 151 Patton Avenue, Room 208 Asheville, North Carolina 28801-5006 Dear Mt. Chapin: Environmental &*Km 9$ Branoh Upon further evaluation of the financial commitment required to pursue the 0.81-acre pond on an unnamed tributary to Three Mile Branch and the associated mitigation, the City of Concord has elected to withdraw its application for the approval of the pond (Action ID No. 200330699). Thank you for your time and your evaluation of the proposed pond. City staff members believe that the construction of the pond would enhance the park and benefit downstream water quality in Three Mile Branch and may elect to pursue this project again at some future time. If you require any additional information to close your file at this time, please contact Joni Cardin at 704-920-5408. Thank you. CITY OF CONCORD Sincerely, a'?' W.
